December Daily 2015

I have a good feeling that I am going to complete December Daily this year.  After taking classes for the past couple of years, and not completing the project, I have now actually taken pictures for each day of the month.

Be Happy

I loved this song when I was a child and decided to play along with the SC Challenge this week with Pam Baldwin.  The challenge was to use either a digital template or song lyric. 

Her layouts incorporate large pictures so I decided to use this cute picture of my niece.  I started with the SC Digital Basics Class Template.  Then I removed the original title and added my own along with the first verse of the If You're Happy and You Know it nursery rhyme.  To create the hybrid I added a label with her initial on it and stapled a star and part of a gold doily since I already loved the colors in the template and did not want to change them too much. The title is a PNG file from another SC Maggie Holmes class.  TFL.

Here are a couple of pictures of the Silhouette cut files that I created for my sister's birthday decorations.  To create the 40 I used the Bebas Neue font and the flower cut file is Design ID #40645 3d peony. Finally, posted the image using a digital from Ali Edwards' new Everyday Life Cursives brush files which I will be using as part of her mini album.  TFL.

Technique Tuesday Studio AE Member Submission Challenge

As part of the one year anniversary celebration, Technique Tuesday has a member submission challenge.  Here is my version of the photo cube that uses the following stamp collections: Studio AE July 2011: Get Outside, Studio AE May 2011: Real Life and Ali Edwards' The Family Circle.  I really enjoyed mixing the stamps up from the different sets for the lid and then stamping the various pictures of my sister and her family with individual stamps.
